Where possible SLTEC aim to provide agronomic and fertigation support through our experienced and highly qualified dealer support team. Our agronomy and technical team are also available and committed to assist on a wide range of issues.

Balanced Agronomy
Balanced Agronomy is a consultancy service we offer to growers directly.
Since January 2008 SLTEC has been delivering a new consulting service to assist progressive growers in getting nutritional and soil health programs on track for sustained performance.

Balanced Agronomy assists clients to:

• Manage soil fertility and nutrient programs sustainably using the most up to date practices
• Maximise productivity returns and nutritional input efficiencies
• Multi task nutrient application operations and activities

• A detailed agronomy audit including a review of soil survey results, historical soil analysis, crop development, plant tissue & SAP analysis, historical fertilizer program (reverse engineering), soil fertility and health
• Assistance with future soil & plant tissue analysis, collection, interpretation (where required)
• Partnership with nutrient and production experts regarding the development of fertility programs to match peak production with sustainable nutrient resource management
• Development of nutrient interpretation standards for soil and plant tissue based on in-house knowledge, Australian and International standards and literature (where required)
• Development of new nutrient programs for future seasons to match crop demand, soil capabilities and fertility, plus irrigation and operational logistics
• Development of custom liquid fertilizer blends for soil (fertigated) and foliar products that multi-task applications, maximise efficiency, improve safety and reduce costs
